Fun fact: The TV lounge on our top floor has a quirky little secret – popcorn kernels! Why? So you can feed the charming guinea fowl (aka tarentaal) who roam the slopes of Table Mountain. Twice a day, these feathered locals swing by for a snack, morning and afternoon. During our home’s construction, many tarentaal moved away, but once the dust settled, they happily returned. And that’s how Tarentaal Kloof got its name – because this is their home as much as ours!
This villa comfortably sleeps 8 in 4 luxury bedrooms but can accommodate up to 10 using the 2 single pull out sleepers available on request. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with heated towel rails, underfloor heating and stunning views.
The heart of the villa comprises a large, open plan living area, encompassing a stylish, fully-equipped kitchen, elegant dining area, and plush lounge. Sliding doors open wide to the pool deck, outdoor braai (BBQ) & dining area, and landscaped garden with loungers to create a beautiful indoor/outdoor space.
On the upper-level is a large, comfortable TV lounge, a stocked honesty bar opening onto the upper-level terrace with breathtaking views and a 10-seater hot tub. The upper-level also boasts another outdoor seating area and braai (BBQ).

A Private gym on the upper level is equipped with various free weight options and bench, stationary bicycle and yoga mats. The sliding doors open wide to another outstanding view.
Air conditioning is available throughout the villa to keep things cool in summer and a beautiful freestanding, gel-burning fireplace in the main dining/lounge area for getting cozy in the winter months.
